Meeting with Chief Jerman

Just a week ago we were gathering books and meeting with kids to see what we can do to better the community. Today we are shaking hands with the Chief of Police in Cedar Rapids, Iowa discussing ways to bridge the gap and prevent violence in the Wellington Heights Area. Chief Jerman took the time to reach out to us and not only come up with ways to better our community but thank us for stepping up and let us know that we can be the biggest influence on our community if we continue our work, expand, and be ourselves. In honor of our contribution we received medals acknowledging what we have accomplished. Those medals will be used as reminders and encouragement to continue moving forward with the Big Bang Foundation

UPDATE: After this meeting, Chief Jerman was interviewed by the Gazette, there he mentions the positive work done with the Big Bang Foundation – http://www.kcrg.com/content/news/375200521.html
