Cedar Rapids “Rock The River” event presented By Big Bang will be an all day fun festival for our youth in the Cedar Rapids Community. Not only is it going to be an event where we giveaway books to kids to increase literacy and encourage education but also we will be giving away back to school supplies for kids in need. All while keeping them entertained.

At the event we plan to host carnival games, have mascots touring, meet and greets with leaders of the community, athletes and entertainers that hail from the city. We want to run a 6 hour event with live music, fun activities, giving away books, school supplies, and prizes, all while having fun and keeping the kids entertained.

By doing this we will show the community that if we come together we can all achieve great things but also make it exciting to unite and help each other. The event admission will be free. However in order to book the Amphitheatre, obtain the supplies we want to give away, keep the music going, setup games, and pay the staff/mascots, we will need some help with funding from you!

This will be an event for you and your kids, and the rest of the city, funded by us, for us! Every donation will help and the more we get the more we can give. Thank you Cedar Rapids for believing in us and now its time we did something to lead our city away from its violence and drug problems and towards a better tomorrow, through education and entertainment!
