It is evident that year after year the youth have had limited resources through the lack of positive role models they can relate to, guidance and activities to help broaden their horizon. With little to no activities for the youth to participate in, a lot of them have resorted to other outlets for entertainment; outlets involving drugs, violence, and other criminal activity.
Being founded by young adults of the community, the Big Bang Foundation has decided that enough is enough and it is time to make a difference. The Big Bang Foundation started on their journey by donating books to the local “My Little Libraries” throughout the corridor; having over 1000 books donated throughout the community. The foundation then took the liberty of hosting a neighborhood clean-up and collected over 250 pounds of compost and waste throughout the local area. Due to the fact that the youth are limited within our city, with the loss of places like Chuckee’s Cheese, the foundation feels as if it is time to give the city something more intriguing.
Due to the fresh beginning of the foundation the event has come to become very costly and the foundation is asking for your help and support in order to help pay for the cost which will cover the initial start up fees, insurance, staffing, and security. So, help the cause of bringing a better tomorrow TODAY!
