The Big Bang Foundation strongly believe that actions speak louder then words. There are a lot of people talking about how to fix the community but not enough people doing.
The first thing we did is fill up the My Little Libraries in the Wellington Heights Neighborhood. A book drive getting over 1000 new books donated to us.
The following week did City Cleanup in the area collecting over 250 pounds of trash and recyclables.
Meeting and exchanged ideas with City Officials such as the Chief of Police Wayne Jerman, Principle of Metro High School Carlos , the President of the Wellington Heights District, and City Counsel leader Chuck Swore.
